This is where hylase\/hyaluronidase plays an important role in aesthetic medicine, especially in connection with hyaluronic acid fillers. This is because hylase is an enzyme that is able to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers if an aesthetic result is unsatisfactory, has been over-corrected or appears asymmetrical, or if complications arise as a result of treatment. A hyaluronidase treatment can be repeated in some cases. This depends on several factors, such as the amount and type of hyaluronic acid filler used.<\/p>

For example, more cross-linked hyaluronic acids (e.g. for deep volume augmentation) are often more resistant and may require several sessions to be completely broken down. Several sessions may also be necessary for large quantities.<\/p>

In addition, the individual reaction of the body also influences how quickly a patient responds to the treatment. Furthermore, the medication should always be used with caution, as it can dissolve not only the hyaluronic acid introduced from outside but also the body's own hyaluronic acid.<\/p>

Whether several treatments are necessary depends on the individual case. As a rule, we wait a few days after the first injection to assess the result.
