Preserv\u00e9\u2122 is not a new breast implant, nor does it replace traditional breast augmentation. Rather, it is a modern surgical approach designed to minimise damage to tissue, developed specifically for use with Motiva\u00ae implants. For suitable patients, the procedure can, in most cases, be carried out on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia combined with twilight sedation. General anaesthesia is not required, but can of course be chosen if desired.<\/p>

The focus here is on preserving the anatomical structures of the breast as far as possible during the operation and treating the surrounding tissue as gently as possible. To this end, various coordinated components are used to support the surgical procedure. These include, amongst other things, specialised dissection instruments that enable the implant site to be prepared in the most controlled and tissue-sparing manner possible, temporary insertion aids, which allow the implant to be inserted as gently as possible, as well as protective sleeves for implant insertion, which reduce direct contact between the implant and the skin and facilitate the most atraumatic insertion possible.<\/p>
