So just because an implant is round does not necessarily mean it will look unnatural.<\/p><p>Anatomical implants are often described as teardrop-shaped because of their shape. The distribution of volume more closely resembles the natural shape of the breast.<\/p><p>However, the most suitable shape does not depend solely on the desired appearance. Put simply, the projection describes how far the implant protrudes forwards. Implants are available with different profiles or projections. This means that, for example, with a comparable base width, it is possible to achieve varying degrees of forward projection of the breast.
