What is microdermabrasion?<\/h2>

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that gently removes dead skin cells from the upper layer of the skin. It is often used to refine the appearance of your skin. Abrasion helps with sun damage, small wrinkles, improves the appearance of minor scars (e.g. acne scars) and also helps with blemished and acne-prone skin.<\/p>

How does microdermabrasion work?<\/h2>

Using a special applicator with a rough surface, the top layer of skin is gently \"abraded\". This process removes dead skin cells and ensures a fresher, more radiant complexion. Pores are no longer clogged by the dead skin cells. This has the advantage of reducing blemishes and pimples on the one hand and refining the pores on the other.
