"Wrinkle-free with Botox"

We all want to look younger, healthy and attractive. Wrinkles are neither beautiful nor sexy. But nowadays it is possible to counteract the ageing process. Botox treatment is an effective method within aesthetic surgery for smoothing out wrinkles while maintaining a natural look. This beauty treatment is quick, low-risk and painless.

Is it generally possible to determine an exact time or age for the first Botox treatment?

The start of treatment with botulinum - also known to many as Botox - should depend on the severity of the wrinkles and the region of the face. As the formation of wrinkles is very individual and depends on various factors such as predisposition, sun, sunbed, stress and pronounced facial expressions, it is difficult to pinpoint an age. Botulinum can also be used preventively in some cases or prevent existing wrinkles from becoming more deeply ingrained. This should be clarified individually in a doctor-patient consultation. If there is no indication for treatment, the doctor will discuss it with the patient.

How often should Botox be used at this early age?

According to studies, Botox usually works for 4 months. This does not necessarily mean that you should have the treatment every 4 months. You get used to the facial expressions and then the duration of effect is extended to up to 6 months.

Are there differences between women and men?

Botulinum is injected into the facial muscles. This is usually more pronounced in men, so the dosage should be slightly higher.

In which areas is Botox used particularly often at a younger age?

The typical frown line, that unsightly wrinkle between the eyebrows, is particularly popular. In this context, however, it often makes sense to have the forehead area completely treated at the same time. Smile lines also sometimes require correction at a young age. However, the doctor will take a very close look at whether and how much treatment is required.

Why? What does that mean?

At any age, but especially with young patients, it is the art of the treating doctor to use botulinum in such a way that the patient looks better afterwards. The sympathetic appearance of the face should be preserved and not appear unnatural.

What should I do if I have missed the time?

You can't really miss the moment. The wrinkles may become deeper, so that treatment with botulinum alone may no longer be sufficient. In this case, an additional treatment with hyaluronic acid might make sense. On the whole, however, you should have a little more patience, because a wrinkle that has been "cultivated" over many years will not disappear after a single Botox treatment.
