Nipple injections with hylauronic acid

from woman to woman

nipple correction

A nipple injection is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure in which the nipples or areola are injected with filler material (usually hyaluronic acid) to improve shape, volume or symmetry.

The aim of nipple injections is to enlarge or emphasise the nipples (e.g. in the case of flat nipples), to harmonise asymmetries, but also to increase volume after breastfeeding or weight loss.

How does a nipple injection work?

Firstly, the area to be treated is disinfected. As this is a very sensitive area, an anaesthetic cream can be applied beforehand or a local anaesthetic can be administered. A hyaluronic acid filler is then injected into the nipple(s), depending on the desired volume. The product is then optimally distributed using a gentle pressure massage.

Brief overview of nipple injections:

Duration of treatment:
approx. 15 - 20 minutes

Anaesthesia:
Local anaesthetic or anaesthetic cream

Follow-up treatment:
none

Load restrictions:
Do not exercise for 2-3 days and avoid saunas, solariums and sunbathing.

Result:
immediately visible, lasts approx. 6-12 months

What should be considered after nipple correction with hyaluronic acid?

Even though nipple correction with hyaluronic acid is a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure, the following points should be considered for the day after:
  • Protecting the breast region - as little friction or pressure as possible
  • Cooling with a clean cooling pad
  • wear tight clothing, no tight bras or tops
  • Do not press or massage yourself
  • No sport, sauna, solarium or hot showers - avoid for 48-72 hours
  • Observe hygiene - clean hands, fresh clothes

Which is normal:

  • Slight swelling, redness or feeling of pressure
  • Possibly small bruises at the puncture site

How long do the results of a nipple lift last?

The result is immediately visible and lasts between 6-12 months, depending on the hyaluronic acid preparation selected and the individual metabolism.

Is a nipple treatment with hyaluronic acid painful?

The nipple area is very sensitive. For sensitive patients, an anaesthetic cream can be applied in advance or a local anaesthetic can be injected. You will then only feel the prick at the injection site. Nipple injections are generally well tolerated. Afterwards, there may be a slight sensitivity to pressure at the treated area.

What are the risks?

Slight swelling, redness or a feeling of pressure afterwards are normal. There may be small bruises at the injection site. As with any injection, inflammation or infection can occur in the treated area, which must then be treated with antibiotics. However, this only happens very rarely and especially if the treatment is not carried out professionally.

Can I still breastfeed after a nipple injection?

As a rule, breastfeeding is still possible after a nipple injection with hyaluronic acid - provided that the treatment was carried out professionally and there were no complications.

During injections, hyaluronic acid is only injected into superficial skin or subcutaneous areas - not into the mammary gland tissue or milk ducts. Milk production and release takes place via deeper anatomical structures that are not affected by a purely aesthetic nipple treatment.
