Treatment with hyaluronic acid / filler
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid / filler
(e.g. Belotero®, Juvederm®, Restylane®, Emervel®)
Hyaluronic acid (also known as hyaluronic acid for short) can be used to lift wrinkles or emphasise lip contours. Hyaluronic acid is a substance related to natural connective tissue. The preparations are produced synthetically and broken down by the body's enzymes over time. Prior allergy testing is not necessary. The results of the treatment (forehead wrinkles, frown lines, eye area, eyebrow, earlobes, lip lines and lip volume, marionette and nasolabial folds) are immediately visible.
Brief overview of treatment with hyaluronic acid / filler:
Treatment duration:
10-30 minutes
Anaesthesia:
not required, depending on the region possible with anaesthetic cream, local anaesthetic
Follow-up treatment:
not special
Load restrictions:
none - 1 day
Natural (native) hyaluronic acid
(e.g. Vital®, Vital light®)
Non-cross-linked hylauronic acids can be used for biorevitalisation/mesotherapy of large areas of skin with incipient and advanced elastosis (fine wrinkles) on the face, neck and décolleté. By stimulating the metabolism and even distribution in the skin, the elasticity, resilience, moisture and thickness of the skin can be positively influenced, resulting in skin rejuvenation with an improved complexion.
Brief overview:
Duration of treatment:
30-60 minutes
Anaesthesia:
Usually not necessary, depending on the region possible with anaesthetic cream
Follow-up treatment:
not special
Load restrictions:
1-2 days
