Basic information about BTL Emsella™

Unconscious urinary leakage can lead to psychological problems and an impaired quality of life. During the treatment, an extremely strong, focussed electromagnetic field is generated. These high intensities achieve supramaximal contractions of the pelvic floor while you, the patient, sit comfortably and clothed on the Emsella applicator.

This enables non-invasive treatment of the pelvic floor and incontinence without a great deal of effort. This device, which has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has so far been used in the USA and occasionally in other European countries.
