Scar corrections / scar treatment
Scars can occur as a result of an operation or injury. Although they cannot be "conjured away", they can sometimes be significantly improved by corrective surgical measures (changing the course of the scar in a less conspicuous direction, using the finest suturing techniques).
After a scar correction
Special wound dressings and scar therapies can often support the treatment.
You should strictly avoid sun exposure to your scars for six months, as this can lead to pigmentation disorders of the skin in the scar area. If sun exposure cannot be avoided, you should cover the scars or use creams with sun protection factor 50+.
